The Spanish Bioindustry Association (AseBio) interviewed our General Manager, Rafa Terán, as part of their “New AseBio Member” feature, where they highlight the companies and initiatives joining Spain’s biotechnology community.
During the interview, Rafa emphasized the value of belonging to such a collaborative platform:
“AseBio is the meeting point for biotechnology in Spain — a space to share, collaborate, and grow as a sector.”
He also explained SmartBio Analytics’ contribution to the development of new medicines:
“We support pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in accelerating drug development in preclinical and clinical stages. Madrid is one of the leading clinical trial hubs in Europe, and we address a clear market need by offering flexible, rigorous, and high-quality bioanalytical services.”
The interview highlighted the importance of having specialized infrastructures, such as our laboratory, to strengthen the biomedical innovation chain in Spain and help new therapies reach patients faster.
